Machine Operative, Aspatria
Our client, a global leader in manufacturing, is entering a peak production period and is seeking temporary Machine Operatives to provide ongoing support. Known for their industry-leading standards and recognised locally as an employer of choice, this is an excellent opportunity to join a respected company during a crucial time.
As a Machine Operative, you will work in a fast-paced environment, operating machinery to support the production process. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of equipment to meet production targets while maintaining quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating machinery to assist in the manufacturing of products
- Monitoring and adjusting machine settings as necessary
- Following operational procedures and health & safety guidelines
- Working to meet production deadlines and quality standards
- Collaborating with the team to ensure smooth workflow
Requirements:
- Previous experience operating machinery in a production or manufacturing environment is beneficial
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures
- Ability to work well as part of a team
Shift Details:
- Backshift working pattern over Monday- Friday
- Pay rate: £12.27 per hour plus shift allowance
