We are working with an established Buy-to-Let Lender with a strong brand identity, who are looking for a highly motivated individual with a numerical and analytical background to join the expanding data analytics team.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, keen to learn new skills, self-motivated problem solver, analytically thinking, efficient, with strong inter-personal skills and a can-do attitude who is committed to meeting deadlines whilst producing high quality work.
This is an entry level role, ideal for a school leaver, who is looking to build fundamental skills that can progress into a career in data.
Key Responsibilities
- Working with the Servicing team and the Senior Data Analyst to resolve Mathematical queries regarding mortgage loan payments.
- To become the point of contact within the data team and the wider company for originator system dashboards.
- Assist and support the Senior Data Analyst.
- Use an analytical mindset to carry out tasks which may not involve data analysis in other areas of the company when required.
Key Skills and Competencies
- Strong academic background, with an A Level in a Mathematical discipline (Maths, Physics etc)
- Microsoft Excel experience with the ability to organise and clean data
- Self-educating, curious and pragmatic, solution-oriented mind-set.
- Assists other team members when necessary.
- Communicates facts and concepts so they can be easily interpreted and understood by others.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
