The Role

At Holland & Barrett, we are on a mission to add quality years to life through our innovative H&B&Me app. This app guides users on making small, impactful changes to their daily habits for improved health and wellness. We are looking for a passionate Copywriter to shape the storytelling and communication across multiple channels, driving engagement and retention for the H&B&Me app.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy and Approach:

  • Collaborate with the Senior Copywriter, Head of Brand and Content, and Product Managers to craft compelling messaging that inspires lifestyle changes.
  • Contribute to the content strategy across websites, blogs, emails, in-app content, and marketing channels.
  • Partner with the Insights team to align content with customer needs and preferences.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate new content ideas.

Delivery of Content:

  • Produce engaging, original content that addresses user pain points and supports commercial goals.
  • Develop various content forms including articles, emails, FAQs, scripts, and UX copy.
  • Apply SEO best practices to enhance content visibility and effectiveness.
  • Craft emotionally engaging messages for brand and social campaigns.
  • Conduct thorough research and build relationships with contributors.
  • Maintain high-quality content standards while meeting quotas and deadlines.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and secure necessary approvals.

Location:

This role operates on a hybrid basis where you can expect to spend at least two days per week onsite in our London hub, Nuneaton hub, or another location. Our team collaborates virtually and meets weekly in our Central London office for team meetings. Other occasional travel may also be required.

The Person

  • Experience in copywriting, ideally in the health or lifestyle sector.
  • Proven track record with a direct-to-consumer brand.
  • Superior editorial skills with impeccable grammar.
  • Experience with scientific, medical, and regulatory teams.
  • Proficiency in SEO and digital writing.
  • Strong research skills and ability to source primary information.
  • Ability to interrogate briefs and add value.
  • Highly organised, independent worker with a positive attitude.
