The role

This role involves leveraging data from diverse sources to deeply understand campaign performance. You'll be building audience control groups, identifying new metrics, trialling measurement approaches, and delivering innovative analytical solutions. Additionally, the role entails evaluating off-site media, statistical approaches, data visualisation, and automation through data engineering techniques. You'll be collaborating with various teams, including the Boots data science team. Key stakeholders include SMG teams, the Boots data science team, and other internal stakeholders.

What you'll be doing

We pride ourselves on creating challenging and exciting opportunities, meaning that no two days are the same. However, here's an idea of what your responsibilities will look like:

  • Leverage data from various sources to create an in-depth understanding of campaign performance
  • Building audience control versus exposed groups, using Machine Learning methodologies, evaluating the impact of on-site and off-site media campaigns - Identifying and implementing new metrics that enable a deeper, more long-term understanding of campaign performance (e.g. CLV, CAC)
  • Trialing new approaches to measuring campaigns that deliver insight across how various channels such as off-site (e.g., social) on-site (e.g., Criteo banner) and in-store (e.g., digital 6 sheet) work together to drive uplift for the brand
  • Delivering innovative analytical approaches that provide best-in-class service to our clients
  • Working with the team on methodologies for evaluating off-site media (e.g., Meta) using 1st party data
  • Working on all the data that feeds into our proprietary tool, Plan-Apps (working with various teams to ensure this data provides actionable insight)
  • Presenting and visualising data for audiences of all levels of data literacy

The process

  1. We will invite you to a first interview which we try to keep relatively informal, so it gives you the opportunity to share your authentic self. The hiring team will be looking to understand more about your experience and why you're interested in working with us.
  2. There will be a second interview which will last a little longer, and involve some form of task to showcase your ability to do the role.
  3. We then invite you to a meet & greet which is an opportunity for you to meet the team you'll be joining and ask them questions about the role and wider business.
