**Job Overview:
We are delighted to be recruiting an Assistant Manager for a purpose built innovation centre, home to a community of ambitious innovators, creatives and businesses in South Cambridge.
The Space operates a network of innovation centres that provide flexible workspace including offices and workshop facilities and business support services to companies throughout the UK. Your clients will range from start-ups, high growth SMEs, investors and also public sector organisations so this is a varied and interesting role.
The Assistant Centre Manager will report to the Centre Manager and will be supported by Customer Experience Assistants. The Assistant Centre Manager should expect to work directly and closely with the Centre Manager and other members of the centre team including the Innovation Director.
Key Responsibilities Include:
To support your Manager to create a successful centre locally, regionally and nationally by selling and marketing the product offering whilst enhancing its reputation for excellence
Deliver a market leading service to the Innovation Centre community in facilities, support and collaborative connections and the training and development of centre staff
Customer Service Excellence: Deliver exceptional customer service levels supporting the Centre Manager with overall management control and accountability for the commercial performance of the centre.
Deputise for the Centre Manager when absent from site overseeing the full operation and management of the centre and team.
This role is to start as soon as possible and will be a two stage interview.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
