NC Associates are working with a forward thinking and market leading service sector organisation based in Preston, Lancashire to assist in recruiting a fully qualified Group Accountant. My client is looking for an experienced, confident and ambitious qualified Accountant who can help drive and manage the preparation of timely management accounts across the group for the business. As a Group Accountant there will have lots of opportunity for progression and development to build on your existing experience.
Group Accountant Responsibilities -
- Prepare and complete consolidated UK results to group
- Production of holding accounts & processing consolidations
- Leading forecasts for the UK business
- Consolidation of budgets
- Production of monthly board packs
- Build strong relationships internally with the wider group
- Provide support to the wider finance team when required
Group Accountant Experience Required -
- Ideally Qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA Accountant
- Previous experience operating in a group based environment is preferential
- Practice background from a large firm advantageous
- Excellent communicator, to build great working relationships with stakeholders
- Experience working within a large, high volume business
- Strong attention to detail.
