First Response Officer
Location - EN1
Salary - £16.01 per hour PAYE // £19.81 per hour Ltd Umbrella
Temp assignment starting 1/7/24 estimated for 3 months
My Client, a North London Local Authority, are looking for a dedicated First Response Officer to provide high-quality support to service users, empowering them to achieve their outcomes. This role requires working both individually and as part of a team to actively contribute to the development and smooth running of the service in accordance with local policies, procedures, and legislation.
Day to Day of the role:
- Deliver a tenure-blind, comprehensive service to residents, focusing on the most vulnerable and ensuring community needs are met.
- Provide housing support and tenancy management services, responding to initial enquiries with transactional resolution.
- Conduct testing and regular inspections of dwellings, blocks, and estates, ensuring health and safety compliance.
- Manage complex casework, including safeguarding, domestic abuse, and anti-social behaviour, working in partnership with various stakeholders.
- Maintain effective relationships with internal and external bodies, including community groups, residents, and regulatory bodies.
- Contribute to budget management and ensure data and records are maintained in accordance with regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in delivering customer-facing, multi-landlord tenure-blind customer service.
- Understanding of property management functions and health and safety regulations.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
- Ability to maintain partnerships and work collaboratively.
- Knowledge of housing law and tenancy management issues is desirable.
