Senior Windows Build Engineer - Windows 11 Deployment
Location: London (Hybrid)
We are seeking a Windows Build Engineer to join our client as they embark on a Windows 11 upgrade and rollout, the successful candidate will work alongside the existing IT Support/ Service Delivery team and will provide SME knowledge on transferring from Windows 10 – Windows 11 so previous experience with these deployments is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently and effectively manage the deployment of Windows 11 devices.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to the Windows 11 rollout.
- Ensure proper installation of software, drivers, and updates.
- Collaborate with end-users to resolve configuration issues.
- Work closely with IT teams to minimize disruption during installation.
- Provide technical support and training to end users post-deployment.
- Understand user application login processes and test functionality.
- Liaise with senior technical staff when additional support is required.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to meet rollout deadlines.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Strong experience in IT Device/Software Rollout, particularly with Windows operating systems.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Windows 11 and M365 deployment processes and tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Autopilot and Intune.
- Excellent customer service and user-facing skills.
- Ability to create detailed documentation and reports.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to address user queries.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Attention to detail and capability to work independently.
