We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Music Instructor to join our dynamic teaching team at an Outstanding-rated all-girls secondary school in Hornchurch. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and nurture the next generation of musicians in a supportive and inclusive environment.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality music lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Plan, prepare, and implement creative and structured lesson plans that align with the national curriculum.
  • Encourage student participation in school performances, competitions, and extracurricular music activities.
  • Foster a love for music, ensuring all students have opportunities to develop their skills and confidence.
  • Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their learning and development.
  • Contribute to the school's positive learning environment and uphold its outstanding standards.

**Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified or experienced in teaching music at secondary school level.
  • Strong knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 music curriculum.
  • Passionate about music education with the ability to inspire students.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • A positive role model who promotes creativity, self-expression, and teamwork.
  • Experience working in an educational setting, particularly within an all-girls school, is desirable but not essential.
