Your new role
Handle all sales order entries and generate work orders.Actively seek and secure new business opportunities through various strategies such as calling and marketing campaigns.Generate and submit detailed quotes to clients using our digital platform. Identify and gather any additional information needed from the client.
Stay updated with any client-provided changes or revisions and incorporate them through our Quality Assurance Procedure, especially noting any potential cost implications. Demonstrate commercial awareness by identifying changes to orders that may result in additional charges for clients.
Foster client relationships to maximise potential opportunities. Keep our CRM system updated and submit monthly reports promptly. Familiarise yourself with all Quality Assurance and commercial procedures related to enquiries. Be flexible to meet the needs of our organisation and clients, which may include occasional travel. Negotiate credit terms with clients and notify them when their account is overdue (in collaboration with our accounts department). Resolve invoice queries with clients and issue credit notes when necessary. Develop and maintain knowledge of IT systems and contribute to the development of new systems and practices. Monitor your monthly KPIs and aim to exceed targets consistently. Perform any other sales & estimating duties as assigned by your supervisor.
