Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable
Powder Coater
to join our production team in
Leatherhead
- This is a permanent, full-time role on a day shift schedule, working within a modern facility and contributing to the high-quality finish of our manufactured components.
As a key member of the finishing team, you will be responsible for the preparation, coating, and curing of metal products to meet customer specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for powder coating including cleaning, masking, and pre-treatment
- Apply powder coating using electrostatic spray guns in a spray booth environment
- Ensure even and thorough coverage of all components
- Operate and monitor curing ovens
- Inspect finished parts for defects such as poor coverage, runs, or contamination
- Maintain and clean spray equipment and booth as required
- Follow health and safety and environmental regulations at all times
- Meet production deadlines while ensuring quality standards are upheld
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience as a powder coater in a manufacturing or finishing environment
- Familiarity with powder coating equipment, materials, and processes
- Good eye for detail and ability to identify finish defects
- Physically fit and capable of lifting, standing, and working in a workshop environment
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
