Salary: £23-28k (dependant on experience)

Based: Peaslake, Surrey

Full-Time: Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm

or

Part-Time: Monday - Friday 8.30am - 1.30pm or 12.30pm - 5.30pm

Car Owner/Driver essential

Our client is currently seeking an Office Administrator/Personal Assistant to join ther team in a busy Veterinary Practice. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, be highly organised, practical and be proficient in various office tasks.

Candidate Requirements:

  • A professional manner, strong work ethic and positive outlook
  • Experience of working in an administration and support role within a professional office environment, preferably a veterinary practice.
  • Good standard of general education (including English and Mathematics). Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and written communication skills
  • A minimum of five years' full-time work experience
  • The ability to work autonomously and be self-motivated
  • Live within a commutable distance to offices
  • A clean UK driving license

Responsibilities:

  • To uphold outstanding phone etiquette standards when providing client liaison politely, professionally and in friendly welcoming manner
  • To manage and support all aspects of administrative functions, for example including managing vets' diaries, scheduling routine appointments and emergency visits, dealing with incoming calls and emails, processing card payments, liaising with veterinary insurance, providing quotations to clients, raising invoices and chasing debt, ordering and managing stock, performing post-office runs, etc.
  • To undertake general receptionist duties in connection with the above functions
