We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking labourer to join our team on a new build housing site in Spennymoor. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading construction company on a key project, with potential for ongoing work based on performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting tradespeople on-site, including carpenters, bricklayers, and plumbers.
- Carrying and moving materials as required.
- Keeping the site clean and tidy, including sweeping and clearing debris.
- Assisting with the unloading and distribution of deliveries.
- Following health and safety procedures at all times.
- Performing general labouring tasks as directed by the site manager.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role on a construction site.
- Valid CSCS card (essential).
- Ability to work well within a team and take instruction.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Good physical fitness, as the role involves manual labour.
- Own PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) including safety boots, hard hat, and high-visibility vest.
