Your new company
This large public sector organisation have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Payroll Assistant to join them on a full-time basis, working as part of a busy payroll team. The post holder will work on the payroll team, managing their own portfolio, processing payroll from start to finish using Sage Payroll.
Your new role
All candidates are expected to have a good understanding of UK payroll legislation and calculations, including National Insurance contributions, PAYE tax, and pensions in relation to payroll queries.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have previous UK payroll experience.
Excellent Excel skills
Great communicator
Able to work on your own initiative, accurately, flexibly and under pressure to achieve the required deadlines
