Legal Administrator

A top law firm in Truro are looking for someone to join their Real Estate department, working as a Legal Administrator. This role would suit someone with previous experience of working within a law firm at secretarial level, ideally within a property department, where you'll have had previous experience of working with the Land Registry Portal and also with Stamp Duty Land Tax submissions. The firm has a very positive culture and is seen as one of THE law firms to work for in Truro, as they support people through career pathways and offer progression.

Tasks will include:

  • Client liaison, answering telephone calls and emails
  • Typing and digital dictation
  • Drafting of letters / emails
  • Diary management for fee earners within the team
  • Other general administrative and secretarial duties

Skills and experience required:

  • Previous experience as a legal secretary would be ideal
  • Competence with the Land Registry portal
  • Experience of handling SDLT submissions
  • Good computer skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A proactive and fast-paced approach
