What You'll Do:

As a Management Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of the organisation. You will be responsible for preparing accurate and timely monthly management accounts, ensuring regular reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts, and maintaining strong internal controls. You will also support the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing valuable insights and analysis. Building strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation will be essential to your success. Additionally, you will contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives and adopt new technologies as they emerge.

  • Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and detailed reports.
  • Regularly reconcile and review balance sheet accounts, resolving any discrepancies promptly.
  • Maintain robust internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting policies and practices.
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting process, offering insightful analysis and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organisation, acting as a trusted financial advisor.
  • Participate in and drive continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development and success of the finance team.

What You Bring:

The ideal candidate for this Management Accountant role is a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with experience in financial reporting, analysis, and reconciliation. You have strong technical accounting skills and are proficient in using Microsoft applications, especially Excel. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are crucial, as you will work closely with various teams across the organisation. A collaborative and adaptable mindset is essential, as is a willingness to embrace change and new ideas.

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with experience in a similar role.
  • Proven experience in financial reporting, analysis, and reconciliation.
  • Strong technical accounting skills, with proficiency in Microsoft applications (particularly Excel).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
