Our clients are specialists in their area, they are recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join their growing team!
Maintenance Engineer Roles and Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for repairs to onsite plant and equipment
- Develop planned preventative maintenance schedules and carry out schedules as necessary
- Assist visiting specialist engineers as required
- Carry out root cause analysis for equipment faults and break downs - reporting concerns to line manager
- Record completed work on job tickets
- Manufacture parts as required from samples or engineering drawings using lathes, milling machines, welding equipment, etc.
- Move, install and reposition equipment
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
The ideal Maintenance Engineer will:
- Have mechanical engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of basic industrial electrical circuits
- Forklift and Scissor lift license preferred
