Our client is an industry-leader within their field and, having experienced considerable growth within the last two years, are now looking to appoint a proven Chief Technology Officer (CTO).
This new CTO role within the company will require someone within extensive experience of developing an engineering culture and mentoring managers, whilst helping to develop a product lead organisation. We are looking for a CTO to provide sound technical leadership in all aspects of the business.
Responsibilities of the Chief Technology Officer:
- Develop technical aspects of the company's strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals
- Working with the engineering team to innovate new technologies that will provide a competitive advantage
- Support the managers to develop a time efficient delivery capability & success mechanism
- Monitor KPIs and IT budgets to assess technological performance
- Use stakeholders' feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to technology
- Communicate technology strategy to partners and investors
Requirements and skills of Chief Technology Officer candidates:
- Proven experience as a CTO or similar leadership role
- Keen interest in technology and awareness of trends to build strategy
- Extensive leadership skills, with in depth knowledge of creating scalable organisational frameworks
- Strategic thinking
- Problem-solving aptitude
The CTO role offers a package consisting of a base salary between £200,000-£250,000 + bonus, a flexible hybrid working split, with weekly presence required in the central London office, and benefits including private healthcare and perks such as paid-for meals when in the office.
