We are seeking an ambitious and dynamic individual to join our fundraising, focusing on growing income and engagement through new and existing corporate partnerships.

Job Purpose - Corporate Fundraising Executive

As a key player in the corporate fundraising team, you will develop and manage corporate relationships, maximizing opportunities for fundraising and mutual benefit. Your role will involve driving strategic partnerships, creating compelling propositions, and significantly increasing our charity's voluntary income. This is a critical position, ideal for someone who can think creatively and drive results from both a business development and account management perspective.

Role Responsibilities

Income Generation -Corporate Fundraising Executive

  • Proactively contribute to the achievement of the charity's fundraising goals, focusing on corporate income streams.
  • Lead on corporate fundraising strategies, including but not limited to Charity of the Year partnerships, corporate sponsorship, and grant applications from corporate foundations.
  • Develop and execute strategies to significantly grow income from corporate supporters, leveraging key opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the fundraising team to design and implement innovative fundraising products, ensuring strong engagement and income growth.

Corporate Partnerships Management

  • Manage and grow existing corporate relationships, ensuring partners are fully supported and actively engaged in fundraising.
  • Deliver stewardship plans to maximize engagement, ensuring companies achieve their fundraising and CSR objectives through strategic involvement.
  • Work with corporate partners to create tailored fundraising initiatives, ensuring our charity's goals align with their brand, values, and CSR priorities.
  • Develop and monitor fundraising KPIs, working towards income targets, and maintaining high partner satisfaction levels.

New Business Development - Corporate Fundraising Executive

  • Research, identify, and approach new business prospects, securing long-term partnerships that deliver sustained income.
  • Lead on building and managing a pipeline of prospective corporate partners, with a focus on securing high-value, multi-year commitments.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and external stakeholders to unlock strategic partnerships.
  • Leverage networks and contacts to explore potential fundraising opportunities across different sectors and industries.

Strategic Fundraising Campaigns

  • Develop and manage tailored corporate fundraising campaigns that offer partners compelling reasons to engage with the charity.
  • Ensure all fundraising activities comply with regulatory requirements and best practice standards, including GDPR and fundraising codes of conduct.
  • Monitor and report on corporate partnerships progress, analysing performance and identifying areas for improvement.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Understanding of corporate fundraising activities
  • Strong knowledge of account management and stewardship principles
  • Experience in new business development, sponsorship, or marketing
  • Strong problem-solving, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines
  • Understanding of budget management and monitoring

Technical/Work-based Skills

  • Ability to develop creative fundraising campaigns and tailored propositions
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with CRM systems for managing partner relationships and data reporting
  • Strong research skills, with the ability to create structured business development plans

General Skills/Attributes

  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and goal-oriented
  • Passion for the charity sector and motivated by the opportunity to build long-term partnerships
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present ideas and influence outcomes

Experience

  • Experience in corporate fundraising, business development, or marketing, particularly in a charity or non-profit context
  • Proven experience in managing partnerships or accounts with high levels of engagement
  • Experience in developing and managing corporate fundraising campaigns
  • Strong knowledge of working with databases and CRMs
