Dynamic and leading law firm based in the beautiful county of Somerset are looking for a Residential Conveyancing Head of Department. This is a permanent full-time role with the opportunity for hybrid working for the right candidate. The firm are expanding and are looking for top-tier, talented individuals who can bring something special to the firm.
Role Involves:
- Responsibility for management of the residential conveyancing team
- Support and supervision of less experienced colleagues and junior staff
- Dealing with any issues arising on a day-to-day basis
- Ensuring that the team are kept up to date with best practice
- Ensuring that the team are meeting their monthly targets
- Attending conference and networking events
- Being ambassador for the firm's values and ethos
- Involvement in business development
- Handle your own caseload of residential conveyancing matters
Require skills:
- Ideally 5 years PQE with solid experience of residential conveyancing
- Previous experience in managing a team/department
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrable team working skills
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
