Venture Recruitment Partners are recruiting for a talented and dynamic Finance Analyst to join a growing finance team in Chichester. This newly created role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in the organisation.
Reporting to both the Director of Finance and Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for providing financial analysis, support, and insights to drive business performance. This role encompasses many responsibilities, ensuring a varied and challenging workload.
Key Responsibilities:
- Become familiar with the accounts and payroll systems to support the existing team during periods of leave, sickness or training and be able to run themselves in an emergency.
- Review and test the system and procedures documentation for the accounts and payroll systems.
- Support budget and forecasting work.
- Support the FD on analytical work & as applicable, support others in the SLT and other departments.
- Help review and check the integrity of key spreadsheets.
Potential projects Going forward:
- Working on moving the payroll and Accounts systems from server-based onto the cloud.
- Review and development of the HR & timesheet system to create electronic timesheets for the technical team to feed into payroll and for production costing.
- Support on capital project work.

- Proven experience in similar roles
- Approachable, friendly, team player
- Ability to relay finance information to non-finance colleagues
- Strong organisation and attention to detail skills
- Strong Excel skills
- Ability to produce analysis and reports
- A passion for the theatre or performing arts
