An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and results-oriented Management Accountant to join a leading hospitality business. This role offers the chance to become a specialist in a key area of the P&L, while also gaining valuable experience in business partnering a division.

What you'll do:
As a Management Accountant, you will play a pivotal role within our finance team. Your primary responsibility will be managing a section of the Income Statement across the Group. You will take ownership of one key division, becoming a specialist in its financial operations from reviewing postings through to balance sheet reconciliation. You will prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports that guide business decisions. Additionally, you will calculate and post monthly journals to accurately report on our performance. Your role extends beyond traditional accounting responsibilities as you will also provide ad-hoc financial support for operations and other head office functions.
- Manage a section of the Income Statement across the Group, ensuring accurate recording, understanding, and communication.
- Deliver and communicate key financial information to the business in a timely and accurate manner.
- Take ownership of one key division and become a specialist, reviewing postings through to balance sheet reconciliation.
- Partner with the division to provide customer service levels of support and analysis, aiding decision-making.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports to guide business decisions.
- Calculate and post monthly journals to accurately report the performance of the business.
- Reconcile the balance sheet to control and safeguard assets.
- Provide ad-hoc financial support for operations and other head office functions.
- Participate in ad-hoc financial analysis projects.
- Work closely with the budget holder for your assigned P&L area to assist with budgets, monthly queries, and ad hoc work.
