We have a fantastic opportunity for a Marketing Manager to play a crucial role in promoting the mission of an international conservation charity.

Position: Marketing Manager

Location: Hybrid / Suffolk

Salary: up to £38k per annum

Contract: 35 hours per week, permanent

About the role:

As Marketing Manager you will promote the organisation's mission, raising awareness of conservation efforts, and driving support for their projects globally. You will develop and implement effective marketing initiatives to engage existing supporters and attract new audiences, effectively communicating the importance of biodiversity conservation and the impact of their work.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Work with the Director of Brand and Communication to develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans to increase brand awareness, drive donor acquisition, and promote fundraising campaigns.
  • Work with relevant team members to manage and oversee all aspects of marketing ensuring consistent messaging and brand representation across website content, social media, email campaigns, printed materials, and advertising.
  • Support the Development team to produce marketing plans for key products and campaigns, utilising audience data and insight to maximize acquisition and retention.
  • Analyse marketing performance metrics, track campaign effectiveness, and generate reports to evaluate ROI and make recommendations to inform future strategies.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with media outlets, influencers, and partners to amplify the charity's reach and impact through earned media opportunities.
  • Build relationships with third-party agencies to deliver end-to-end campaigns and appeals.
  • Lead, manage and support a team to build their capability and deliver team objective, carrying out performance and development reviews and supporting personal development of staff.

About you:

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Proven experience in marketing, developing, and implementing marketing plans, preferably within the nonprofit sector.
  • Strong understanding of a broad range of marketing products, to include digital marketing techniques and platforms, and analytics tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and messages for divers.
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering within deadlines.
  • Able to adapt to up-to-date evolving trends and able to evidence adaptability to new tools and techniques.
  • Build effective working relationships both within a team environment and with suppliers and third-party agencies.
  • Excellent organisational skills and able to prioritise work effectively.
  • Passion for conservation and environmental sustainability.
  • Actively engaged with ongoing development, ensuring that learning is implemented into ways of working.
  • An understanding of inclusive working environments and able to support and coach team members to be the best that they can be.
