Your new company
We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified General Teacher to join a secondary school located near Sunderland. For this job, the successful candidate will be responsible for teaching RE, Science, and Geography to students in our school. The position is full-time and will start in September and last until October 2024.
Your new role
- Plan and deliver lessons that are engaging and challenging, using a variety of teaching methods- Assess students' progress regularly and provide feedback to students and parents
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement
- Manage classroom behaviour and maintain discipline in accordance with school policies
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development activities
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching RE, Science, and Geography to secondary school students
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
