Salary: Up to £28,000 dependent on experience

Hours: Monday to Friday 8am - 4:30pm

Fulltime, onsite - Saffron Walden

The purpose of the Commercial Administrator role is to regularly liaise with partners to manage, track and progress the maintenance and repair of their components from arrival at our facility to their safe return. You will be responsible for regularly reviewing works progress on the workshop floor, working closely with the Engineers, Workshop Manager, Planning, Logistics and Quality to ensure service and delivery does not fall behind and deadlines are met.

You will handle every aspect of managing the administration and customer service processes required to deliver end to end service.

Responsibilities: Commercial Administrator

  • Regular liaison with our Partners to manage, track and progress the maintenance and repair of components
  • Flag up any supply issues such as shortages or delays and liaise internally with the Purchasing, Planning and Engineering Team Leaders to progress works to agreed deadlines
  • Accurately input information into our inhouse database systems
  • Identify and implement processes to improve quality of service and productivity
  • Handle any customer service issues and complete general administrative duties
  • Respond to Customer questions
  • Supporting team members with their roles and to provide cover with annual leave (Sales, Estimating, Purchasing)
  • Answering incoming/external phone calls
  • Ensuring on Company documents are up to date on our website

Education / Experience: Commercial Administrator

  • GCSE or equivalent
  • Ideally experience in an Aerospace Engineering company
  • Knowledge of planning, monitoring, and managing workloads to achieve production targets
  • Knowledge of office administrative procedures
  • Proficient in relevant software applications
