We are recruiting for a Sales Administrator to work within a small established team and will be responsible for handling customer order queries and general office administration tasks. This company have a positive working environment and go above and beyond to deliver outstanding customer care, the ideal candidate will have recent customer service experience in an office environment and good administration skills.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- To act as first point of contact in dealing efficiently with telephone orders and enquiries
- Directing customers towards the correct product at the correct price
- To create new customer accounts
- Accurately entering customer orders onto the in-house system including any delivery requirements
- Building working relationships with customers
- Processing customer payments and sending customer invoices
- Liaising with internal team for delivery scheduling
- Liaising with customers regarding delivery expectations
- Filing customer orders, despatch notes and proof of deliveries
- Assist with various administration tasks, on an ad hoc basis
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- An approachable, professional telephone manner
- Friendly and professional with a ‘can-do' attitude
- Previous employment in customer services or similar environment
- Organised and able to prioritise high volumes of work
- Ability to work under pressure and able to cope with constantly changing priorities
- Excellent keyboard skills and proficient in Word and Excel
- Must be able to drive due to rural area location
WORKING HOURS:
08:00 - 17:00 Monday to Friday with 1 hour unpaid lunch break
