My client is recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join a growing team. The role will offer career progression as the business expands.
Job role:
- Produce monthly reports for the accounts manager.
- Maintain Debtors and Sales Ledger transactions, Customer invoicing and receipts, Customer Statements and Credit Control.
- Manage Debtor Credit Accounts and Account Credit Limits
- Maintain Creditor and Supplier ledger transactions, Supplier Invoicing including import documentation and VAT transactions, Monthly Bacs run, Supplier Statements.
- Manage bank transactions, payments to UK and foreign currency transactions and bank reconciliations.
- Petty Cash
- Analysing Company Credit Card statements
- Job Costings
- Monitor and Report on Employee Holiday entitlement
Person spec:
- AAT or equivalent experience
- Have a proven track record with strong knowledge of accounting processes.
- Work to tight deadlines
- Be an excellent team player also work independently and use own initiative.
- Have strong attention to detail and able to work accurately.
- Experience of Sage 50 or equivalent accounting software would be an advantage
The role is a full-time position working Mon-Thur 8:30am - 5:00pm, Friday 8.30am to 4pm.
