About The Role
Purpose of the Role:

Delivering outstanding customer services to all visitors to the site. Secure premises and personnel by patrolling, inspecting buildings, prevents damage by reporting irregularities, informing violators of policy and procedures. Responsible for assisting the day-to-day cleaning responsibilities for the site ensuring that the cleaning specifications are adhered to.

You will be working night shifts 5 Days from Seven 16:00 to 00:00, 40 hours per week on a permanent, full-time basis.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Patrol the site providing a high visibility presence to deter potential shoplifters, prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
  • Documenting and report any hazards or concerns to all relevant parties in line with site guidelines.
  • Be able to contact emergency services in cases of emergency i.e. Fire, Unauthorised access, Injuries/ injured person(s), Theft/ burglary, Suspicious devices, Environmental disaster, Flood. This is by no means an exhaustive list, but it gives an indication of what could result.
  • Warn persons of rule infractions or violations, apprehend or evict (See on site rules & regulations).
  • Carry out routine cleaning tasks as delegated and dealing with bodily fluid spillages.
  • Operate as part of the team, providing our customers with the required image.
  • Use of and monitoring of cleaning machinery and report all maintenance requirements as specified to your line Manager.
  • work with other teams for the benefit of the site, developing new skills where appropriate.
  • Carry out any other reasonable request of the Manager, Client, Regional Manager or Senior Management Team.
  • Participation in site emergency procedures.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Must hold a valid SIA Licence
  • SIA CCTV Licence (Desirable)
  • First Aid at work (Desirable)
  • Customer Service Training (Desirable)
  • A good understanding of basic IT skills
  • Attention to detail show through articulate report writing.
  • Dual service experience within the retail or similar environment (Desirable)

  • Maintain and develop working relationships, with the client, Managers, Colleagues, Regional Manager
  • Ability to work within a team.
