Accounts Payable Assistant

Our client based in Windsor is looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join them on a temporary basis.

This is a full time role, Monday - Friday. You will be able to work hybrid, 3 days in the office a week. There is limited parking. Experience in Accounts isn't essential but you must have a keen interest in developing a career within transactional accounts work.

Key duties include:

  • Maintain purchase ledger - entering a large volume of invoices
  • Take responsibility for satisfactory resolution of any pricing queries, related to invoicing
  • To reconcile supplier statements balances and be responsible for resolving associated queries
  • Maintain electronic invoice filing system
  • Monitoring central mailbox as required
  • Department administration tasks as requested

Key skills / requirements:

  • Ability to work as part of a team and take direction accurately
  • Proactive can-do attitude with a flexible with a hands-on approach
  • Great attention to detail
  • Fantastic time-management
  • Proficient with Microsoft office
