- £38,000- £43,000 per annum
- Monday to Friday, plus on-call duties
Day to Day of the Role:
- Oversee the daily operations of the care home, ensuring a smooth and efficient running of services.
- Ensure the care home complies with all relevant regulations and guidelines to maintain the highest standards of care.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that support the delivery of personalised care plans for residents.
- Supervise, train, and mentor staff members, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Coordinate and monitor resident care plans, ensuring individual needs and preferences are met.
- Conduct regular health and well-being assessments of residents, adapting care plans as necessary.
- Work closely with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive, integrated care.
- Manage budgets and resources to ensure the care home operates within financial targets.
- Maintain meticulous records and documentation, ensuring all care activities are accurately recorded.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role within a healthcare setting.
- Familiarity with CQC framework
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to lead a team effectively.
- Strong decision-making skills, with the capacity to make informed choices under pressure.
- A compassionate and caring approach to resident care.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
