Broster Buchanan are recruiting for a Part-Time Accounts Assistant to be based in Peterborough, initially on a temporary basis. There is flexibility on hours and days worked.
Delivery of transaction processing, accounting, ad-hoc analysis, and other finance administration tasks for the head office.
Role Responsibilities
- Monitoring the accounts inbox and highlighting the status of items received daily.
- Accounts Payable – processing invoices, ensuring authorised in accordance with policy, appropriately coded and posted on a timely basis.
- Preparing payment runs.
- Conducting supplier statement reconciliations.
- Preparation of intercompany recharge invoices and intercompany reconciliations.
- Preparation of journals, reconciliations and related analysis.
Person Specification
- Prior experience of working in a finance function or other similar business administration role.
- Prior experience of invoice processing, posting journals, preparing reconciliations and using an accounting system.
- Good working knowledge of Excel an advantage.
