PART TIME 20-25 hours - Assistant Management Accountant - North Leicestershire - £30-35k FTE
Macildowie Finance are working with an SME based in North Leicestershire to recruit for a permanent Assistant Management Accountant on a part time basis of between 20-25 hours per week.
If you have a strong background working with the ledgers & aspects of management accounting tasks and are looking to put them skills to use, please look no further!
In this position you will be an integral part of a small finance team, supporting the Financial Controller with the month and year end close process.
For this role, there will be the expectation of being office based for the duration of the working week, with some flexibility possible after a probationary period.
Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:
- Preparing balance sheet reconciliations
- Journal entries, accruals, prepayments
- Supporting on the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Assisting in preparing & analysing budgets and forecasts
- Provide cover and support for the ledger teams when necessary
The ideal candidate will be/have:
- Experience within a varied and hands-on accounting role including experience in management accountant
- Part Qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or equivalent experience
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Working knowledge of Sage 50/Sage 200 is desirable
