Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and set up laboratory equipment and materials for science lessons.
- Assist teaching staff during practical science sessions.
- Maintain and clean laboratory equipment and workspaces.
- Manage inventory and order supplies for the science department.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the laboratory.
- Provide technical support and guidance to students during experiments.
- Assist with the organisation and execution of science-related events and projects.
Requirements:
- A strong interest in science and education.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of laboratory equipment and safety protocols.
- Previous experience as a science technician is preferred but not required.
- A valid DBS on the update service is essential.
