Credit Controller

£26,000 + Benefits

Office Angels are currently recruiting for a Credit Controller to join a finance organisation with offices based in Manchester City Centre & Ellesmere Port. This role will be working between both offices; therefore, applicants must be able to attend both sites. Please note this role is fully office based and there is free parking at the Ellesmere Port office
The day-to-day duties for this role are:
- Chasing debt with existing clients via phone, emails and letters and understanding their business and needs
- Managing your own portfolio of clients
- Assisting with month end data reporting
- Agreeing repayment plans where appropriate
- Chasing remittances for cash allocation
- Building relationships with clients and updating regularly
- Adding new client details to the internal system
- Escalate any issues to management and recommend accounts to solicitors
- Any other tasks as required
We'd love to speak to candidates with:
- Previous experience in a credit control role
- Good IT skills including MS Office and ability to learn and use CRMs
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- The ability to build rapport with customers
- Ability to deal with a varied and busy workload
- Fantastic attention to detail
