Customs Clearance Specialist - BD10- Up to £30,000!
Hours: Monday- Friday 8:30-5:30pm - 1 hour lunch break
Location: Bradford - BD10 - On-site parking
Salary: £30,000 PA
Benefits: 25 days + bank holidays, Pension Contribution, Free on-site parking!
We are partnering alongside a freight forwarding service who are now looking for someone to join their small and friendly team to support with Customs Clearance.
This role will be Customs Clearance for the first 12 months and then you will have the opportunity to move into the Export side for Sea and Air freight!
This role is a great opportunity for someone who has got Customs Clearance experience and wants to grow into new challenges!
Your key duties:
- Create import, export and T1 declarations
- Monitor statuses of declarations
- Invoice finished jobs
- Monitor, learn & teach any changes in HMRC customs compliance
- Monthly reporting
- Updating internal CRM System
Skills and experience required:
- Basic experience in customs declaration service (CDS)- Import and Export
- Experience with New Computerised Transit System (NCTS)
- GVMS experience - Goods Vehicle Movement Service
- Ability to read and pick up necessary information out of commercial documents
- IT Literate - Microsoft, Excel, CRM systems
