Job Title: Solar PV Installation Manager

Location: South Wales
A leading Solar PV installation company in South Wales is seeking a dedicated and experienced Solar PV Installation Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial and residential solar installations and hold the necessary qualifications to install solar systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install solar panel systems, including inverters and battery storage systems.
- Effectively plan and manage the installation schedule.
- Organize and manage installation teams efficiently.
- Order necessary materials.
- Arrange scaffolding as needed.
- Handle G98 and G99 applications.
- Conduct site surveys.
- Complete MCS paperwork.
Qualifications and Skills:
- City and Guilds 18th Edition and City & Guilds Inspection and Testing or equivalent qualifications.
- Extensive knowledge of the solar industry.
- Qualification to install solar systems under the MCS scheme.
- Proven experience as an electrician and solar system installer.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and components.
- Supervisory and organizational experience.
- Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and testing equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Mechanical knowledge is a plus.
