North London (Hybrid) - Senior Embedded Software Engineer - 70-75k (salary dependent on experience)
This is a great opportunity to join one of our good clients who work within battery management systems. They are looking for a skilled Embedded Software Engineer who has hands on experience working with Python on Embedded Systems.
Main Duties:
+ Work on low level embedded/firmware development as well as high level application level
+ Take ownership of IoT software architecture including firmware (bare metal), embedded software and assist with cloud.
+ Use Python for hardware development
+ Write specifications and test plans and ensure correct documentation is used
Skills Needed:
+ Extensive Embedded Software experience including Embedded linux and programming in C
+ Experience with Python. You don't need to be an expert but you need to understand its use in an embedded/hardware environment
+ Experience with Python and C in Linux application development
Further to the role:
This position is hybrid in North London and can be flexible depending on your requirements. Due to being hybrid you should be able to get to the office at least on a weekly basis.
Our client does not have a visa licence so you need to be eligible to work in the UK.
