Property Manager

We are seeking a skilled Property Manager on behalf of our client. Our client is looking for enthusiastic individuals to enhance their teams. Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting management to maximise rental returns and minimise vacancy periods.
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to support property acquisition and achieve organisational targets.
  • Ensuring the property portfolio and related activities comply with legislative requirements.
  • Providing excellent customer service to a demanding client base and maintaining relevant records and systems.
  • Conducting effective tenancy and asset management to ensure maximum returns.
  • Performing routine checks to manage risks related to fraud and subletting.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Experience in property management and lettings in the private rented sector.
  • Knowledge of London Living Rent and its role in the lettings and sales market.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work as part of a dynamic team and respond positively to challenges.
  • A proven record of meeting targets and deadlines in a demanding, customer-focused commercial environment.
  • Awareness of budgetary and financial risks in the residential marketplace.
  • Proficiency in using MS Office Suite, including Excel, Microsoft Teams, and CRM/Microsoft D365 software.
  • Experience negotiating and handling tenancy renewals.
  • Experience managing complaints within target times and meeting resident expectations for positive outcomes.
  • A solid understanding of tenancy management, including assured shorthold tenancies and related legal notices.
  • Knowledge of legal processes related to tenancy breaches and arrears.
