GSL Education Kent invites dedicated individuals to join our team as a Teacher of Geography for a school in the Maidstone area. This exciting opportunity is commencing in September 2024 and offers a full-time position.

The school is an independent, all-through, co-educational, non-selective school for children aged 7-18. It has a strong Christian ethos and enrolls 195 pupils.

As a Geography Teacher, you will play a crucial role in cultivating a fascination for the world's diverse landscapes, cultures, and environments, equipping students with essential knowledge for their educational journey.

As a Teacher of Geography, your responsibilities will be to:

  • Develop and deliver engaging geography lessons, tailored to meet the learning needs of students.
  • Encourage active participation and critical thinking, fostering a positive and stimulating learning environment.
  • Provide constructive feedback and support to students to help them achieve academic excellence.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance the geography curriculum and promote cross-curricular learning opportunities.
  • Promote a strong sense of respect for the environment and cultural diversity among students.

Requirements for the Geography Teacher role:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or possess relevant UK teaching qualifications.
  • Demonstrate proven experience in teaching Geography
  • Exhibit a strong foundation in teaching with the ability to adapt methods to meet diverse student needs.
  • Strong organizational abilities, adaptability, and composure in a dynamic classroom setting.

Overseas trained teachers with experience in teaching Geography are also encouraged to apply.
