Academics have been working with schools in the UK for close to 30 years and our Basildon branch, whilst still being new, is flourishing and struggling to meet the supply and PPA cover demand of our lovely partner schools. Could you help us help them?

Flexibility: Take control of your own availability and when you work! Want to spend more time with your children? No problem! They are only little now! Want to go back to Education - do a masters or become an educational psychologist? Good for You! Want to travel more outside of the school holidays? No problem with us - life is for living! No matter the reason, we will be here to keep you as busy as possible if you simply want flexibility.
Networking: (ESPECIALLY FOR ECT'S) Supply is a great way to network in schools that you can potentially envision yourself working in. Schools tend to have regular supply teachers and if you are great at excelling in a supply booking you could regularly be asked back. From this as vacancies arise each term (or in the middle) you are likely top of their list to be considered!! You also will have a unique insight to day-to-day life in said schools, making the prospect of a new job much less daunting!
A Human Aspect**:** We like to take the time to build a relationship with our supply teachers, it makes our job more fun and we hope it means you will come back to us! Sickness and family emergencies etc. is understandable and a part of life. Work with an agency where you will have a whole team of lovely consultants working for you.
Fair Pay**:** Working supply is not going to pay the same as a UPS teacher, we offer fair pay of between £130-£230 per day (depending on length of role / responsibilities) and it is your choice whether to be paid via PAYE or via Umbrella. We will not push for either but offer advice on what may be the best option for you depending on your circumstance.
