My client is seeking a skilled and motivated Experienced Gardener / Grounds Maintenance operative to join their growing team. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing the beauty and functionality of our clients' outdoor spaces. This role involves hands-on gardening, supervision of team members and travelling in pairs to various local sites.
Your expertise in operating both hand and power tools are essential to ensuring high-quality landscape maintenance and groundskeeping. A valid driving licence is required, as the role involves transporting equipment, materials and team members to various sites.
Location: Head office is based in Denham and then driving to various local sites: (Commercial & Residential).
Job Type: Full-time
Annual Salary: £26,000 – £30,000 (excluding overtime)
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Hours 7.30am - 4.30pm (42.50hr week) with 30-minute lunch break.
(Saturday work sometimes will be available in which you are paid time and a half for).

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine grounds maintenance including mowing, trimming, weeding, and seasonal planting.
- Operate and maintain hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Supervise and support a junior team member to ensure high standards of work.
- Drive to and from client sites, transporting tools, materials, and team members as needed.
- Collaborate with the team to plan and execute landscape maintenance strategies.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in gardening and grounds maintenance.
- Supervisory experience or ability to lead a small team.
- Proficient in the safe use of grounds maintenance equipment.
- Strong understanding of seasonal horticultural tasks.
- Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Advantage but not essential - PA1& PA6 licence, training courses provided if required.
