Silver Swan is currently searching for a Maintenance/Facilities candidate to work for our client in London, UK. The ideal candidate would join a small team in a private household playing a really important role in looking after 4 exclusive residential properties in Belgravia and Knightsbridge, London, supporting the House Manager and assuring all the planned preventative maintenance is updated and upheld.

Responsibilities:
- Performing general maintenance and light repairs.
- Cleaning and maintaining outdoor areas.
- Performing routine checks on IT and AV equipment.
- Upkeep of the interior/exterior decorating.
- Maintaining basic lighting systems.
- Assisting contractors when on site.
- Undertaking additional duties as needed or instructed by the property manager.
- Performing emergency tasks and attending alarm call-outs.
- Record monthly utility services in all properties and assist with the management of utility accounts.
- Act as a point of contact for contractors, vendors, and service providers, coordinating their activities as necessary.
- Identifying and reporting the need for major repairs to the property manager.
- Weekly reports are to be done and issued to the property manager.
- The position requires occasional driving requirements when the Principals and immediate family are in the residence.
Ideal Candidate:
- Should be proactive, self-motivated, reliable, and capable of providing pristine workmanship for maintaining luxury residential properties.
- Should have a flexible, discreet, and helpful attitude, be happy to follow instructions and show the right attitude.
- Should be highly organiased, detail-oriented, and capable of maintaining a permanent state of readiness within the residence.
- Previous experience in a similar role preferably in a high-end residential setting with the flexibility to work longer hours when the client is in residence.
- Skills with using hardware tools and electrical equipment.
- Technical experience and knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building management systems.
- Good communication and multitasking ability.
Package:
- Working week - Monday to Friday 8 am until 4 pm - Availability on certain weekends and public holidays is necessary.
- After probation time: enrolment in workplace pension.
- Salary: From £50k gross annually + Bonuses
- Start date: ASAP
