Our exclusive client based in Blackburn are currently recruiting for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join their team. This manufacturing business have grown massively over the past 10 years both organically and through acquisitions and are looking for an ambitious person to grow and develop with them.
Duties of the role include:
- Assisting in monthly management account preparation
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Assisting with budgets, reviewing, and reporting on actual against prediction
- Accruals and prepayments
- Complex bank reconciliation
- Journal posting
- Daily bank receipts postings
- Ad hoc reporting
The business will support your study (either CIMA or ACCA) whilst also giving you full on the job training. The ideal candidate will work within an accounts department and either be a graduate or be AAT qualified and looking to step into starting the next stage of their studies.
