Description

  1. Create financial and statistical reports using excel spreadsheets and Microsoft office applications. Generate, manage, organise, and update relevant data using Microsoft excel.
  2. Managing electricity accounts by reviewing the current contracts using the skills of financial forecasting with a minimum risk Negotiating new business deals and terms of business to achieve most cost effective outcome.
  3. Entering of data into our accounts system, such as purchase orders, receipting of goods on delivery, passing of invoices, generation of customer delivery notes and customer invoices.
  4. Communicate and provide information by relevant methods internally and externally to assist and enable organisational operations and effective service to internal departments, suppliers and customers.
  5. Provide administrative support and assistance in all areas as necessitated by workload and needs of the business.
  6. Engage in improving our IT systems and business models, analyse systems requirements, undertake product development, implement, configure and test feasible solutions.
  7. Interpret instructions and issues arising, and then implement actions according to administrative policies and procedures.
  8. Arrange and participate in meetings, conferences, and project team activities, where applicable.
  9. Adhere to all company and customer procedures, requirements and reporting criteria.
  10. Develop personal skills and capability through on-going training, as provided by the company or elsewhere subject to Company approval.

Profile

  1. Conversant with all products within Microsoft Office, confident in the use of excel.
  2. Attention to detail.
  3. Able to prioritise a busy workload and work well under pressure.
  4. Capable of working as part of a team as well as on your own.
  5. Excellent written & verbal communication and co-operate with colleagues and management.
  6. Use your own initiative and be self-motivated.
  7. Logical and analytical thinking.
  8. Ability to work on a number of concurrent projects - presented always with a can-do attitude.
  9. Own transport arrangements required, due to office location, which is not on a public transport route. Role is office based.

Job Offer

The ideal candidate must have a valid driving licence and own transport due to our office location.

This vacancy is vacant with immediate effect.

Hours of work Monday to Friday, with one if 4 weekends which can be done remotely, which is presently a Sunday of approx. 4 hours.

Job details:

  • working hours, Monday - Friday 08:00-17:00. Office based
  • Weekend work cover, one in four. Currently it is Sunday. It is job to finish and it can be done remotely.
  • We offer 29 days of annual holidays, auto enrolment pension scheme, on site free parking
  • Salary is negotiable (region of £30,000 to £35,000). This will be reviewed based on performance (e.g. implemented improvements and workload streamlining if achieved).
  • Interviews; Teams call initially, second stage would be face to face chat including a few hours in the office to be able to show the candidate our operation and to give the candidate an idea what the role entails.
