Job Title: Production Operative
Location: Hull
Pay Rate: £11.44 per hour
Job Type: Full-time, Temp to perm
Shift Pattern: Continental 12-hour shifts
- Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday (60 hours) 6am-6pm (Days)
- Week 2: Wednesday & Thursday (24 hours) 6am-6pm (Days)
- Week 3: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday (60 hours) 6pm-6am (Nights)
- Week 4: Wednesday & Thursday (24 hours) 6pm-6am (Nights)
Key Responsibilities:
- As a Production Operative, you will be required to operate and maintain machinery and equipment to the highest standards.
- Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure smooth handover.
- Contribute to a team effort in producing high-quality products.
- Be flexible and adapt to different production tasks within the department.
- Prepare machinery and ensure all necessary materials are available for production.
- Oversee equipment performance and restock materials as needed.
- Report equipment malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime.
- Achieve production targets set by the Line Manager.
- Complete all relevant paperwork accurately.
You Will Need:
- Experience in a dynamic setting, particularly in creating injection and blow moulded products.
- Physical fitness to handle the demands of the role.
- Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Commitment to excellent Health & Safety practices.
