Head of Estates and Facilities

- Ivy Learning Trust
- £70,000 - £75,000 per annum (plus excellent benefits)
- London and Home Counties

When the time comes at the end of ones' career, some people like to look back at it, reflect, think and review all the things that they have done and achieved over their working lifetime.

Imagine being able to say that you spearheaded the estates and facilities operation within one of the UKs fastest growing multi-academy trusts (MAT), how you implemented new processes, helped grow the estate, developed a team, were that trusted "go-to" person, changed the lives of many school children and staff by making their learning environments safe, secure and inspirational.

Being able to say, "I did that".

The Ivy Learning Trust (ILT for short) is a collection of schools in Enfield and Hertfordshire. Currently they have 15 schools in their family, but this will be increasing to 18 in the coming months. It was only 2017 when ILT was formed with 2 schools, so you can see the growth that has happened over a relatively short period of time.

Now is the time to join them. A brand new opportunity has been created for a Head of Estates and Facilities. The scope for the role is big as you can imagine with a brand new role. The person coming in will need to be experienced and have a wide reaching skills and knowledge base. Health and Safety? Check, Contract Management? Check, Capital Programme Management? Check - this role has high expectations, but you will be ok with that, thrive off it, and bring your own experience, knowledge and skills to the job.

You don't need to have worked within a MAT before, but you will need to be able to demonstrate that you understand and have the experience of the whole multi-site, multi-team, multi-stakeholder management process. You will be able to do the whole strategic piece, but also be an operator - rolling those hypothetical sleeves up.

Want to part of something big? Be at the forefront of change? Build a legacy?

Then get in touch.
