Salary: £35,000

Our client, a leading business based in the Chelmsford area, is seeking a Senior Customer Services Executive to join their team. As a crucial member of the Customer Services department, you will work closely with the Customer Services Manager and Sales Manager to uphold a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and satisfaction. You will have the opportunity to build and maintain strong relationships with external customers and drive process improvements to enhance the client experience.

  • Lead and support the Customer Services team in delivering first-class customer service and managing customer orders efficiently.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with external customers, ensuring all their enquiries are handled promptly to drive new business and loyalty.
  • Collaborate across departments to eliminate barriers that impact the customer experience and recommend improvements to customer service procedures.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a customer service or order management role, preferably within a manufacturing organisation, including working with ERP and CRM systems (SAP or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated strong communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills to provide excellent customer service.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise under pressure, and utilise knowledge of MS Excel and other MS Office products.
  • Highly motivated with a continuous improvement and process-oriented mindset, coupled with a keen eye for detail.
  • A team player with the flexibility to adapt and excel in a fast-paced environment.
