Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with a calm and patient demeanor, ready to make a significant impact on a young child's educational journey? Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support a SEND child in KS1, starting in September 2024.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to a KS1 child with SEND, focusing on their specific learning needs.
- Manage and support challenging behaviours with a calm and consistent approach.
- Collaborate with the class teacher and SENDCO to implement individual education plans.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience working with children who have SEND and challenging behaviours.
- Patience, resilience, and a nurturing attitude.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to commit to the specified working hours.
