HR Business Partner

Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be recruiting for a HRBP for one of our clients based in Sheffield. Working for a growing, forward thinking and progressive, commercial business this is a great opportunity to join the HRBP team.

Reporting into the Senior HRBP and working alongside Talent and L&D teams the role will be responsible for supporting key stakeholders and designated client groups across the business to deliver HR solutions across the full employee lifecycle, meeting the needs of the business with a specific focus on performance, engagement, wellbeing and diversity.

The role will coach and support manages to effectively manage and develop their teams in line with their business plans, by increasing capability and attracting, retaining and developing the best industry talent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partnering with stakeholders at all levels to provide relevant HR support
  • Understand the strategic objectives of the business and align the HR strategy
  • Play an active role in transformation projects, including support and advice in the implementation of organisational change projects such as workforce planning, roles changes, redundancies, TUPE transfers and restructures
  • Create and implement effective wellbeing, diversity and inclusion solutions
  • Improve employee engagement through effective use of available tools, constructive and regular feedback and pragmatic action planning
  • Support managers to enable a high performing culture through clear development pathways and succession planning
  • Support International managers on country people growth & development
  • Undertake regular succession planning and ensure that all talented employee have development plans and that solutions exist for any skills gaps or challenges
  • Support reward activities by benchmarking roles, supporting pay reviews, undertaking calibration and reviewing all pay review and bonus recommendations
  • Provide monthly MI, analyse metrics for reporting and improvements

To be successful, we're looking for the following skills and experiences:

  • CIPD qualified or relevant experience
  • Strong capability at HRBP level
  • Demonstrable expert legislative knowledge ideally both UK and internationally
  • Experience of implementing wellbeing, performance, diversity and engagement improvement programmes
  • Demonstrable experience of independently managing complex employee relations issues
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), ensuring that employee communications drives engagement across all levels.
  • Strong stakeholder management experience with evidence of building and maintaining strong and effective relationships with the ability to influence decision making at all levels.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with HR colleagues and key stakeholders
  • Evidence of delivering change in complex fast moving organisations
  • You should be agile, rigorous as well as demonstrating strong team commitment and a positive attitude.
