The Housekeeping Manager role requires a diligent and responsible individual with a keen eye for detail. The candidate will oversee the upkeep and cleanliness of a large healthcare facility in East Renfrewshire, Glasgow.

This is a large hospitality company with over 1,500 employees. The company operates across Scotland, providing top-tier healthcare services.

Description

  • Oversee the daily cleaning and maintenance of the healthcare facilities.
  • Develop and implement housekeeping systems and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Manage and supervise the housekeeping team.
  • Maintain inventory and ensure that all cleaning supplies are available when needed.
  • Train new team members and provide them with ongoing support.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure a high standard of patient care.
  • Regularly inspect facilities for cleanliness and overall condition.

Profile

A successful Housekeeping Manager should have:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in facilities management or a related field.
  • Experience in managing a team in a healthcare/ hospiality or related environment.
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning practices and procedures.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • The ability to manage a budget and resources effectively.

Job Offer

  • An estimated salary range of £32,000 - £35,000 per year.
  • A full-time, permanent role in a growing healthcare company.
  • 40 hours p/w
  • 5 days a week, 8am to 5pm (2 week shift rota)
